If you are on a budget but want the savings of a Heat Pump on your Hot Tub then this is the model for you.

The Onda Mini plugs into a standard 3 pin electricity socket meaning you dont have to worry about the electrical side of the installation.

The connection to the hot tub is made with the specifically designed connection kit from Buildahottub.com. This allows you to connect the supplied hoses into your circulation pump. You will install a bypass system so that you can disconnect the hoses and put the Onda Mini Heat Pump away if required.

Inside of your Hot Tub cabinet will look something like this. I have indicated on this particular model where we would add the Air Source Heat Pump.

How to Install the Onda Mini Heat Pump

Please remember – the front of the pump is suction and the side or top of the pump is discharge. The direction of flow is important.

The Bypass

(sold separately) The bypass allows you to not only disconnect the Onda Mini Heat Pump if you would like to store it away for Winter for example, but it also allows you to control the flow. If there is too much flow going through the Onda Mini Heat Pump, you can open the central bypass gate valve and reduce the flow through the heat pump.

In the diagram above, we have installed the bypass horizontally – this of course can be installed vertically too.
